The paper considers inter-organizational interactions to be all forms of formal and informal linkages and contacts between various agents in the system of innovation, including firms, universities, traditional medicine practitioners, hospitals and other external agencies. Using results obtained in the survey and the experiences of other countries that have succeeded in developing biotechnological capacity, critical interactions and scope for policy interventions are discussed Keywords: Innovation, Capacity Building, Institution Building, Research, Learning, Pharmaceutical Industry, Nigeria Series: Discussion Paper Creation-Date: 2005 Number: 2005-02 File-URL: https://www.merit.unu.edu/publications/discussion-papers/2005-2.pdf File-Format: application/pdf File-Size: 229 Kb Handle: RePEc:unm:unuint:200502
